10.59.6. Installation
WARNING
Soldering iron can cause severe
burns to personnel and start fires.
Observe all safety precautions when
using soldering iron. If injury occurs,
seek medical aid.
a. Solder 50 wires (6) to component assembly
(2).
(1) Position component assembly (2) on bracket
assembly (3).
(2) Solder 50 identified wires (6) to component
assembly (2). Use solder (item 189, App F)
and soldering iron (TM 55-1500-323-24).
b. Perform continuity test on 50 wires. Use digital
multimeter (TM 55-1500-323-24).
c. Install cover (1) on component assembly (2)
and bracket assembly (3).
(1) Position cover (1) on component assembly
(2) and bracket assembly (3).
(2) Install four screws (4) through washers (5),
cover (1), spacers (5.2) (if removed), compo-
nent assembly (2), and spacers (5.1).
d. Inspect (QA).
