10.59.3. Removal
a. Remove electrical component cover (1) from
electrical component assembly (2) and brack-
et assembly (3).
(1) Remove four screws (4), washers (5),
spacers (5.1), and spacers (5.2) (if installed).
(2) Remove cover (1) from bracket assembly (3).
WARNING
Soldering iron can cause severe
burns to personnel and start fires.
Observe all safety precautions when
using soldering iron. If injury occurs,
seek medical aid.
b. Desolder 50 wires (6) from component assem-
bly (2).
(1) Identify and desolder 50 wires (6) from com-
ponent assembly (2). Use soldering iron
(TM 55-1500-323-24).
(2) Remove component assembly (2) from
bracket assembly (3).
10.59.4. Cleaning
a. Clean removed and attaching parts and wire
attaching surfaces (para 1.47).
10.59.5. Inspection
a. Check wires for damaged connections, cuts,
and wear (para 10.1).
b. Check panel for cracks, dents, and damaged
hardware. None allowed.
