10.61.5. Inspection
a. Check support panel for cracks and elongated
holes. None allowed.
10.61.6. Installation
WARNING
Soldering iron can cause severe
burns to personnel and start fires.
Observe all safety precautions when
using soldering iron. If injury occurs,
seek medical aid.
a. Install receptacle connector (13) on panel (2).
(1) Install connector (13) through panel (2).
(2) Install solder lug (17), washer (16), and nut
(15) on connector (13).
(3) Solder identified wires (14) on connector (13).
Use soldering iron and solder (item 189,
App F) (TM 55-1500-323-24).
b. Attach jumper (5) to panel (2).
(1) Install screw (12) through panel (2).
(2) Install washer (11), lockwasher (10), and nut
(9) on screw (12)
(3) Install terminal lug (8), washer (7), and nut (6)
on screw (12).
c. Install two posts (1) on panel (2).
(1) Install two screws (3) from front side of sup-
port panel (2) through washers (4) into posts
(1) on back side.
