AFT REFUELING HOSE REPLACEMENT – continued
10.84.6. Installation
a. Install coupling body (2) and split retainer (18)
over end of hose (16).
b. Install new packing (9) and body (7) on trans-
fer pump (19).
(1) Lubricate packing (9). Use petrolatum
(item 138, App F).
(2) Install packing (9) on ferrule (8).
(3) Slide body (7) over packing (9) until body
contacts pump (19).
c. Insert hose (16) through hole in bulkhead (17).
(1) Bend hose (16) as required to clear structure
of helicopter.
