AFT REFUELING HOSE REPLACEMENT – continued
d. Install bracket (10).
(1) Install bolt (11) through bracket (10) and bulk-
head (17).
(2) Hold bolt (11). Install washer (13) and nut (12)
on bolt (11).
(3) Install bolt (14) through washer (15) and bulk-
head (17) into bracket (10).
e. Install new packing (9) on refueling hose fer-
rule (20).
(1) Lubricate packing (9). Use petrolatum
(item 138, App F).
(2) Install packing (9) on hose ferrule (20).
f. Install retainer (6).
(1) Center body (7) over two packings (9).
(2) Position retainer (6) around body (7).
(3) Latch retainer (6). Ensure safety spring (21)
is fully locked.
