PRESSURE FUEL MANIFOLD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION – continued
f. Remove body (3) from refuel line (17).
(1) Remove retainer (18).
(2) Pull body (3) until it clears refuel line (17).
g. Remove body (8) from pressure refueling
hose (19).
(1) Remove retainer (20).
(2) Pull body (8) until it clears hose (19).
h. Remove pressure fuel manifold (21).
(1) One person hold manifold (21) in ammunition
bay.
(2) Remove eight bolts (22) and washers (23).
(3) Remove manifold (21) from ammunition bay.
i. Remove old sealing compound from manifold
(21).
10.94.4. Cleaning
a. Wipe removed and attaching parts with a
clean rag.
b. Remove sealing compound residue from
mounting surface.
10.94.5. Inspection
a. Check refuel line connector and pressure re-
fueling hose for cracks, distortions, nicks, or
gouges (para 10.1).
