NO. 2 ENGINE FUEL INLET HOSE REPLACEMENT – continued
d. Remove No. 2 engine fuel inlet hose (1) from
engine mounting flange (2).
(1) Remove four bolts (3) and washers (4).
(2) Remove hose mounting flange (5) from
flange (2).
(3) Remove and discard gasket (6).
e. Remove ratchet sleeve connector (7) from fuel
ratchet adapter (8).
(1) Pull connector (7) back to release locking
teeth.
(2) Turn and pull connector (7) from adapter (8).
10.98.4. Cleaning
a. Wipe removed and attaching parts with a
clean rag.
10.98.5. Inspection
a. Check hose, engine mounting flange, and
adapter for cracks and broken or missing
teeth (para 10.1).
b. Check mounting flange and adapter for corro-
sion (para 1.49).
