NO. 2 ENGINE FUEL INLET HOSE REPLACEMENT – continued
10.98.6. Installation
a. Install connector (7) on adapter (8).
(1) Lubricate threads of connector (7). Use
petrolatum (item 138, App F).
(2) Install connector (7) on adapter (8).
(3) Turn connector (7) until seated and locking
teeth engage with adapter (8).
b. Install hose (1) on flange (2). Torque four bolts
(3) to 22 INCH-POUNDS.
(1) Lubricate new gasket (6) on both sides. Use
petrolatum (item 138, App F).
(2) Place gasket (6) and flange (5) on flange (2).
(3) Install four bolts (3) and washers (4).
(4) Torque four bolts (3) to 22 INCH-POUNDS.
Use torque wrench.
c. Inspect (QA).
d. Perform fuel system priming operation (para
1.23).
e. Perform fuel crossfeed/boost system mainte-
nance operational check (TM 1-1520-238-T).
f. Secure access door RN1 (para 2.2).
