APU FUEL PUMP OUTLET TUBE REPLACEMENT – continued
10.110.4. Cleaning
a. Wipe removed and attaching parts with a
clean rag.
10.110.5. Inspection
a. Check removed and attaching parts for
cracks, damaged threads, and other damage
(para 10.1).
10.110.6. Installation
a. Install tube (5) on nipple (8). Torque nut (9) to
120 INCH-POUNDS.
(1) Lubricate threads of nipple (8). Use
petrolatum (item 138, App F).
(2) Hold union (8). Install nut (9) on nipple (8).
(3) Torque nut (9) to 120 INCH-POUNDS. Use
torque wrench.
b. Install tube (5) on elbow (6). Torque nut (7) to
120 INCH-POUNDS.
(1) Lubricate threads of elbow (6). Use
petrolatum (item 138, App F).
(2) Hold elbow (6). Install nut (7) on elbow (6).
(3) Torque nut (7) to 120 INCH-POUNDS. Use
torque wrench.
