FUEL BOOST PUMP PRESSURE SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION – continued
c. Remove fuel boost pump pressure switch (1)
from fuel fitting (2).
(1) Detach two electrical wires (3) from switch
(1).
(2) Remove lockwire.
(3) Remove switch (1) from fitting (2).
(4) Remove and discard packing (4).
10.112.4. Cleaning
a. Wipe removed and attaching parts with a
clean rag.
10.112.5. Inspection
a. Check switch and fitting for nicks, dents, and
stripped or damaged threads (para 10.1).
b. Check wire harness for chafing and loose
installation (para 10.1).
10.112.6. Installation
a. Install new packing (4) on switch (1).
(1) Lubricate packing (4). Use petrolatum
(item 138, App F).
(2) Install packing (4) on switch (1).
