AFT FUEL CELL NITROGEN INERT OUTLET ORIFICE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION – continued
g. Install panel (1).
(1) Aline panel (1) with mounting holes in trans-
mission deck (21).
(2) Lubricate 76 new packings with retainers (3).
Use petrolatum (item 138, App F).
(3) Install 56 screws (2) and packings with retain-
ers (3).
(4) Install 20 bolts (4) and packings with retainers
(3).
h. Apply sealing compound as fillet seal to panel
(1). Use sealing compound (item 175, App F).
i. Inspect (QA).
j. Install aft fuel cell upper vent tube (para
10.30).
k. Perform fuel quantity indication/transfer
maintenance
operational
check
(TM 1-1520-238-T).
l. Install access panel R200 (para 2.2).
