f. Remove other end of hose (5) from check
valve (9) at bulkhead.
(1) Hold check valve nut (10). Remove nut (11) of
hose (5).
(2) Remove hose (5).
10.132.4. Cleaning
a. Wipe removed and attaching parts with a
clean rag.
b. Clean sealing compound residue from access
panel and mounting area on transmission
deck (para 1.47).
10.132.5. Inspection
a. Check hose for cracks, splits, or damaged
threads (para 10.1).
b. Check adapter for nicks, dents, or damaged
threads (para 10.1).
(1) Check that adapter retaining nut is tight and
holding union secure in cover.
c. Check valve at bulkhead for nicks, dents, or
damaged threads (para 10.1).
(1) Check that valve is tight and secure in bulk-
head.
d. Check access panel for nicks, dents, or
cracks (para 10.1).
