f. Remove other end of hose (5) from bulkhead
union (8).
(1) Hold nut (9) of union (8). Remove nut (10).
(2) Remove hose (5).
10.131.4. Cleaning
a. Wipe removed and attaching parts with a
clean rag.
b. Clean sealing compound residue from access
panel and mounting area on transmission
deck (para 1.47).
10.131.5. Inspection
a. Check hose for cracks, splits, or damaged
threads (para 10.1).
b. Check union and valve for nicks, dents, or
damaged threads (para 10.1).
c. Check access panel for nicks, dents, or
cracks (para 10.1).
