10.131.6. Installation
CAUTION
Jet fuel will cause external surface of fuel
cell to swell, delaminate, and leak if al-
lowed to contact the fuel cell more than
72 HOURS. Keep jet fuel away from the
outside of fuel cells.
a. Install hose (5). Torque nuts (10) and (7) to 120
INCH-POUNDS.
(1) Install hose (5) on union (8).
(a) Hold union (8).
(b) Install nut (10) on union (8).
(c) Torque nut (10) to 120 INCH-POUNDS
Use torque wrench.
(2) Install hose (5) on valve (6).
(a) Hold valve (6).
(b) Install nut (7) on valve (6).
(c) Torque nut (7) to 120 INCH-POUNDS
Use torque wrench.
b. Inspect (QA).
