10.137. AUXILIARY FUEL TANK KIT (TWO TANK) INSTALLATION – continued
10.137.3. Installation
a. Operate the PYLON ACTG SW (1) to move py-
lon (2) to full up position (flight stow).
b. Remove hydraulic power (para 1.73).
c. Remove electrical power (para 1.70).
d. On inboard pylon (2), detach connector P507 (3)
from actuator receptacle (A90)J507 (4). Attach
connector P507 (3) to dummy connector (5) on
pylon frame.
CAUTION
Wire bundle must be clear of valve to
prevent chafing wires on valve.
e. Install shutoff valve (6).
(1) Insert valve (6) through LW9/RW9 access on
top of wing. Position valve (6) on forward side
of 70 percent wing spar.
(2) Install four bolts (7) and washers (8).
(3) Detach connector P141/P142 (9) from
dummy receptacle (10).
(4) Attach connector P141/P142 (9) to recep-
tacle (L5/L4)J1 (11) on valve (6).
(5) Perform electrical bonding check on four
bolts (7) (TM 55-1500-323-24).
(a) Bond shall be 1.0 OHM or less. Use
multimeter.
f. Seal heads of four bolts (7). Use sealing
compound (item 161, App F).
