10.137. AUXILIARY FUEL TANK KIT (TWO TANK) INSTALLATION – continued
CAUTION
When positioning retainers on hoses,
make sure that dust caps will not touch
each other or swing freely on hoses.
h. Install hose (20).
(1) Remove dust cap (21) from coupling half
(22).
(2) Lubricate threads of coupling half (23). Use
antiseize compound (item 29, App F).
(3) Hold coupling half (23). Install nut (24) on
coupling half (23).
(4) Lubricate coupling half (23). Use antiseize
compound (item 29, App F).
(5) Attach coupling half (23) to coupling half (22).
(6) Lubricate dust cap (21). Use antiseize
compound (item 29, App F).
(7) Install dust cap (21) on retainer (25).
