CYCLIC STICK RADIO-ICS SWITCH REPLACEMENT – continued
WARNING
Ensure wiring inside the cyclic grip is
properly restrained with lacing tape
prior to reassembly. Failure to comply
may cause uncommanded firing of a
weapon system.
b. Install switch (4) on grip (5).
(1) Apply a small bead of adhesive on the mating
surface of switch mounting shoulder (10).
Use adhesive (item 14, App F).
c. Install switch in mounting hole (11).
(1) Install two screws (8).
(2) Install two washers (7) and nuts (6).
(3) Restrain wires (9) (TM 55-1500-323-24). Use
tape (item 202, App F).
d. Inspect (QA).
e. Install cap (1).
(1) Install cap (1) on grip (5).
(2) Install five screws (2) and screw (3).
(3) Apply a light coat of adhesive over heads of
five screws (2) and head of screw (3). Use
adhesive (item 14, App F).
f. Clean excess adhesive from grip (5) (para
1.47).
g. Inspect (QA).
h. Perform intercommunications system (ICS)
maintenance
