CYCLIC STICK ASE RELEASE SWITCH REPLACEMENT – continued
11.49.6. Installation
WARNING
Soldering iron can cause severe
burns to personnel and start fires.
Observe all safety precautions when
using soldering iron. If injury occurs,
seek medical aid.
a. Solder wires (6) to switch (5).
(1) Solder identified wires (6) to switch (5). Use
soldering iron and solder (item 189, App F)
(TM 55-1500-323-24).
b. Inspect (QA).
c. Install switch (5) on grip (1).
(1) Apply a small bead of adhesive around switch
mounting shoulder (7). Use adhesive
(item 14, App F).
(2) Install switch (5) on grip (1) and press in
place.
d. Clean excess adhesive from grip (1) (para
1.47).
