REMOVAL/INSTALLATION – continued
11.110.3. Removal
a. Remove sealing compound from faying sur-
face of bracket (1).
b. Remove mount bracket assembly (1) from
deck (2).
(1) Remove four bolts (3) and washers (4).
(2) Remove bracket (1).
11.110.4. Cleaning
a. Clean removed and attaching parts (para
1.47).
11.110.5. Inspection
a. Check nutplates for stripped or damaged
threads (TM 1-1500-204-23).
b. Check bracket for nicks, scratches, and
gouges. Not to exceed 0.015 INCH.
c. Check removed and attaching parts for dam-
age (para 11.5).
d. Check removed and attaching parts for corro-
sion (para 1.49).
e. Check all installed bushing(s) and/or bear-
ing(s) for wear (para 11.5).
f. Check all removed bushing(s) and/or bear-
ing(s) for wear (para 11.4).
