11.126.6. Installation
CAUTION
To prevent damage to flight control sys-
tem components, do not use force to
aline bellcrank with bracket or to aline
push-pull rod with bellcrank.
a. Install bellcrank (12) on bracket (26). Torque
nut (28) 30 to 40 INCH-POUNDS.
(1) Position bellcrank (12) on bracket (26) to
aline pivot bolt holes.
(2) Install bushing (31) in bracket (26).
NOTE
The maximum thickness for washer
stackup is 0.102 INCH for this bellcrank
pivot point.
(3) Install bolt (29) through washer (30), bracket
(26), bushing (31), and bellcrank (12).
(4) Check fit of self-retaining bolt (29) (para
11.1).
(5) Install nut (28). Torque nut (29) to 30 INCH-
POUNDS. Use torque wrench.
(6) Increase torque to aline cotter pin hole, but do
not exceed 40 INCH-POUNDS.
(7) Install new cotter pin (27).
