11.147.5. Inspection
a. Check removed and attaching parts for dam-
age (para 11.5).
b. Check removed and attaching parts for corro-
sion (para 1.49).
c. Check all installed bushing(s) and/or bear-
ing(s) for wear (para 11.5).
d. Check all removed bushing(s) and/or bear-
ing(s) for wear (para 11.4).
11.147.6. Installation
NOTE
Existing bolt, bushings, and nut are used
to aline transducer arm and SPAD for
installation of rivet.
a. Install arm (2) on SPAD (4).
(1) Aline arm (2) with SPAD (4).
(2) Install bushings (5) and (6) in arm (2).
(3) Insert bolt (7) through arm (2) and SPAD (4).
(4) Hand tighten nut (8) to contact bushing (6).
b. Install arm (2) shear rivet (9).
(1) Insert rivet (9) through arm (2) and SPAD (4).
NOTE
Maintain gap of 0.001 to 0.005 INCH be-
tween SPAD and arm on rivet side.
(2) Install rivet (9) (TM 1-1500-204-23).
