11.170. DIRECTIONAL F.S. 164.33 BELLCRANK REMOVAL/INSTALLATION – continued
d. Install rod (1) in bellcrank (2). Torque nut (4) 30
to 40 INCH-POUNDS.
(1) Position rod (1) in bellcrank (2).
(2) Aline bolt holes.
(3) Install bolt (5) through washer (6), bushing
(7), bellcrank (2), and rod (1).
(4) Check fit of self-retaining bolt (5) (para 11.1).
(5) Install nut (4). Torque nut (4) to 30 INCH-
POUNDS. Use torque wrench.
(6) Increase torque to aline cotter pin hole, but do
not exceed 40 INCH-POUNDS.
(7) Install new cotter pin (3).
e. Inspect (QA).
f. Install transformer-rectifier No. 1 (para 9.30).
g. Install access panel L200 (para 2.2).
h. Perform directional flight control rigging
maintenance
