11.170. DIRECTIONAL F.S. 164.33 BELLCRANK REMOVAL/INSTALLATION – continued
11.170.3. Removal
a. Remove push-pull rod (1) from directional
bellcrank (2).
(1) Remove and discard cotter pin (3).
(2) Remove nut (4).
(3) Remove bolt (5), washer (6), bushing (7), and
rod (1) from bellcrank (2).
b. Remove directional push-pull rod (8) from
bellcrank (2).
(1) Remove and discard cotter pin (9).
(2) Remove nut (10).
(3) Remove bolt (11), washer (12), bushing (13),
and rod (8) from bellcrank (2).
c. Secure rod (8) to prevent interference with
bellcrank (2) during movement of controls.
d. Remove bellcrank (2) from directional bracket
(14).
(1) Remove and discard cotter pin (15).
(2) Remove nut (16).
(3) Remove bolt (17), washer (18), and bushing
(19) from bellcrank (2) and bracket (14).
(4) Remove bellcrank (2).
e. Remove bearing (20) and bushing (21).
