f. Remove shear pin half (15) from SPAD (6).
(1) Move lever (13) to allow access to shear pin
half (15).
(2) Remove shear pin half (15) from SPAD (6).
11.173.4. Cleaning
a. Wipe removed and attaching parts with a
clean rag.
11.173.5. Inspection
a. Check removed and attaching parts for dam-
age (para 11.5).
b. Check removed and attaching parts for corro-
sion (para 1.49).
c. Check all installed bushing(s) and/or bear-
ing(s) for wear (para 11.5).
d. Check all removed bushing(s) and/or bear-
ing(s) for wear (para 11.4).
e. Check retainer for damaged threads. None al-
lowed.
