11.187. LATERAL MAGNETIC BRAKE MECHANISM ASSEMBLY DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY

b. Install link (1) on bellcrank (2) and arm (3).
Torque two nuts (5) 30 to 40 INCH-POUNDS.
(1) Aline link (1) with bellcrank (2).
(2) Install bolt (6), washer (7), and bushing (8).
(3) Aline arm (3) with link (1).
(4) Install bolt (6), washer (7), and bushing (8).
(5) Check fit of self-retaining bolts (6) (para 11.1).
(6) Install two nuts (5). Torque two nuts (5) to 30
INCH-POUNDS. Use torque wrench.
(7) Increase torque to aline cotter pin hole, but do
not exceed 40 INCH-POUNDS.
(8) Install two new cotter pins (4).
c. Inspect (QA).
