11.186. LATERAL MAGNETIC BRAKE MECHANISM ASSEMBLY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION – continued
b. Install -5 rig pin (26) in rig pin hole (27).
c. Install brake mechanism (5) on airframe (16).
(1) Maintain shaft (6) at midpoint of travel (23).
(2) Install spacers (22) and (21) and shim (20) on
shaft (6).
(3) Aline the arm index mark (28) with the mag-
netic brake shaft index mark (29).
(4) Slide brake mechanism (5) on shaft (6).
(5) Aline holes in brake mechanism (5) with
holes in airframe (16).
(6) Install four bolts (19).
(7) Install four washers (18) and nuts (17).
