Turn off power before detaching or
attaching wires and connectors. High
current 28 VDC or 115 VAC is present.
Failure to do so could result in death or
serious injury.
1. Detach and tag wires from (A402): TB229E,
TB229F, TB229G, and TB229H. Detach
P431, check for short between: P686116 and
ground.
(A402):
J11B14 and ground,
J11B15 and ground,
J27A7 and ground,
TB37/8A and ground.
Does short exist?
YES
Repair shorted wire between:
P431A7 and P686116.
(A402):
J11B15 and TB229E,
J11B14 and TB229F,
TB229G and TB37/8A,
TB229H and J27A7.
Go to paragraph 1112.
NO
Go to step 2.
2. Check for short between P423B15 and ground.
Does short exist?
YES
Go to step 4.
NO
Go to step 3.
3. Detach P118, check for short between
P423B14 and ground.
Does short exist?
YES
Repair shorted wire between
P423B14 and J1187.
Go to paragraph 1112.
NO
Replace CPG cyclic stick
(TM 1-1520-238-23).
4. Detach (A401)P113, check for short between
P423B15 and ground.
Does short exist?
YES
Repair shorted wire between
P423B15 and J113A11.
Go to paragraph 1112.
NO
Replace pilot cyclic stick
(TM 1-1520-238-23).
