Failure to do so could result in death or
serious injury.
1. Detach P413. Check for short between
P413B6 and ground.
Does short exist?
YES
Go to step 2.
NO
Go to step 3.
2. Check for short between J2701 and ground
Does short exist?
YES
Repair shorted wire between
P413B6 and J2701.
Go to paragraph 1123.
NO
Replace pilot longitudinal SPAD
(TM 1-1520-238-23).
3. Check for short between P413B15 and ground.
Does short exist?
YES
Go to step 4.
NO
Go to step 5.
4. Check for short between J2721 and ground.
Does short exist?
YES
Repair shorted wire between
P413B15 and J2721.
Go to paragraph 1123.
NO
Replace pilot collective SPAD
(TM 1-1520-238-23).
5. Check for short between P472A19 and ground.
Does short exist?
YES
Go to step 6.
NO
Go to step 7.
6. Check for short between J2691 and ground.
Does short exist?
YES
Repair shorted wire between
P472A19 and J2691.
Go to paragraph 1123.
NO
Replace pilot directional SPAD
(TM 1-1520-238-23).
7. Check for short between J2711 and ground.
Does short exist?
YES
Repair shorted wire between
P472A20 and J2711.
Go to paragraph 1123.
NO
Replace pilot longitudinal SPAD
(TM 1-1520-238-23).
