CAUTION
To prevent breakdown of cylinder piston
rings, rotation of piston rod is limited to
45 DEGREES so that rod end can be
alined with bellcrank during rigging and
installation. Adjustments are made by
turning rod end, not piston rod.
NOTE
If nylon washer is excessively worn or
has debonded from bellcrank, repair
(para 11.12).
g. Aline rod end (4) with bellcrank (18).
(1) Insert alinement bolt (19) halfway through
bellcrank (18), nylon washer (20), and rod
end (4) from inboard side of bellcrank.
h. Insert bushing (21) through bellcrank (18) un-
til it seats against rod end (4).
