10.20.3. Disassembly
a. Remove chain assembly (1) from end of cable
assembly (2).
(1) Spread spiral ring (3) and turn until chain as-
sembly (1) can be removed from cable as-
sembly (2).
b. Remove defuel system pulley (4) from fuel/de-
fuel check valve assembly (5).
(1) Remove two retaining rings (6) and pulley
shaft (7) from pulley support (8).
(2) Remove pulley (4).
c. Remove cable assembly (2) from valve as-
sembly (5) and flapper assembly (9).
(1) Spread spiral ring (10) and turn until cable
assembly (2) can be removed from flapper
assembly (9).
(2) Remove wire swage sleeve (11).
(3) Remove sealant and one attaching screw
(12) and one self-locking nut (13) that at-
taches the cable assembly (2) to valve as-
sembly (5).
(4) Pull cable assembly (2) through grommet
(14) and remove from valve assembly (5).
(5) Remove sealant and remaining screw (12)
and self-locking nut (13).
