d. Install cable assembly (2) on flapper assembly
(9).
(1) Install wire swaging sleeve (11) on end of
cable assembly (2).
(2) Install spiral ring (10) on end of cable assem-
bly (2) and on flapper assembly (9), by
spreading spiral ring (10) and turning until
cable assembly (2) is secured.
e. Install flapper assembly (9) on valve assembly
(5).
(1) Position flapper assembly (9) in valve assem-
bly (5).
(2) Apply a 0.25 INCH wide band of sealing com-
pound to two screws (12) below screwheads.
Use sealing compound (item 177, App F).
(3) Install two screws (12) and self-locking nuts
(13), with short end of cable assembly (2)
under one of the screw heads.
f. Install pulley (4) in valve assembly (5).
(1) Install pulley (4) with cable assembly (2)
routed behind pulley (4) in valve assembly
(5).
(2) Install shaft (7) through pulley (4) and support
(8).
(3) Attach two retaining rings (6).
g. Install chain assembly (1) on end of cable as-
sembly (2).
(1) Spread spiral ring (3) and turn until chain as-
sembly (1) is securely attached to the cable
assembly (2).
h. Inspect (QA).
