AFT FUEL CELL FILLER NECK REMOVAL/INSTALLATION – continued
c. Install neck (5) on pad (13). Torque six bolts (14)
to 60 INCH-POUNDS.
(1) Position neck (5) on pad (13).
(2) Install five bolts (14) and washers (15).
(3) Install bolt (14), washer (15), and strap (16).
(4) Torque six bolts (14) to 60 INCH-POUNDS.
Use torque wrench.
(5) Perform electrical bond check on bolt (14)
(TM 55-1500-323-24).
(a) Bond shall be 1.0 OHM or less. Use
multimeter.
(6) Seal bolt (14). Use sealing compound
(item 175, App F).
d. Install neck (5) on port (2).
(1) Apply sealing compound to inside of area sur-
rounding port (5). Use sealing compound
(item 175, App F).
(2) Install 12 washers (7) and bolts (6).
e. Install cap (1) on port (2).
(1) Spread spiral ring (3). Slide chain end (4) on
ring (3).
(2) Turn ring (3) until secure in chain end (4).
(3) Remove chain end (4) from locking slot (20).
(4) Push cap (1) in port (2).
(5) Turn cap (1) to close position.
f. Inspect (QA).
