AFT FUEL CELL FUEL SHUTOFF VALVE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION – continued
b. Install valve (2) on mounting pad.
(1) Position valve (2) with nipple (7) facing left
front of fuel cell.
(2) Install three bolts (15) and washers (16).
c. Attach identified black lead (9) and green lead
(10) to valve (2).
(1) Install screw (11), washer (12), and black
lead (9).
(2) Place green lead (10) on stud (14).
(3) Install nut (13) on stud (14).
d. Install hose (6) on nipple (7).
(1) Lubricate threads of nipple (7). Use
petrolatum (item 138, App F).
(2) Hold nipple (7). Install nut (8) on nipple (7).
e. Install hose (1) on valve (2).
(1) Lubricate new gasket (5) on both sides. Use
petrolatum (item 138, App F).
(2) Place seal (5) and hose (1) on valve (2).
(3) Install four bolts (3) and washers (4).
f. Inspect (QA).
g. Install aft fuel cell access panel and access
cover removed (para 10.32).
h. Perform pressure refueling/defueling mainte-
nance operational check (TM 1-1520-238-T).
