NITROGEN INERTING UNIT (NIU) COOLING AIR INLET HOSE
REMOVAL/INSTALLATION – continued
(6) Slide clamp (8) over free end of hose (1) in
position at tube bracket (9).
(7) Install screw (5) through washer (7), clamp
(8), and bracket (9).
(8) Install nut (6).
(9) Slide clamp (3) over free end of hose (1).
(10) Place end of hose (1) over left vent (4).
(11) Slide clamp (3) into position to secure hose
(1) to vent (4).
(12) Tighten screw of clamp (3).
b. Inspect (QA).
c. Perform fuel system priming operation (para
1.23).
d. Perform nitrogen inerting system mainte-
nance operational check (TM 1-1520-238-T).
e. Install ammunition storage magazine
(TM 9-1090-208-23).
f. Install access panel R200 (para 2.2).
