AUXILIARY FUEL TANK KIT (TWO TANK) INSTALLATION – continued
NOTE
Retain bolts, nuts, and washers removed
in step r for reinstallation when kit is re-
moved.
r. Remove two bolts (70) and one bolt (71) from
pylon (2).
(1) Remove two nuts (72), one nut (73), two
washers (74), and one washer (75).
(2) Remove two bolts (70), one bolt (71), two
washers (74), and one washer (75).
s. Install bracket (76) on pylon (2).
(1) Position bracket (76) on pylon (2). Aline bolt
holes.
(2) Install two bolts (77) through washers (78),
bracket (76), and pylon (2).
(3) Install bolt (79) through washer (80), bracket
(76), and pylon (2).
(4) Hold two bolts (77). Install two washers (78)
and nuts (81) on bolts (77).
(5) Hold bolt (79). Install washer (80) and nut
(82) on bolt (79).
t. Perform electrical bond check on uppermost
bolt (77) (TM 55-1500-323-24).
(1) Bond shall be 1.0 OHM or less. Use
multimeter.
(2) Seal head of uppermost bolt (77). Use
sealing compound (item 174, App F).
