AUXILIARY FUEL TANK KIT (TWO TANK) INSTALLATION – continued
u. Install two couplings (83) on bracket (76).
(1) Loosen eight retainer screws (84).
(2) Slide four retainers (85) open.
(3) Position one coupling (83) in each set of re-
tainers (85).
(4) Slide retainers (85) closed around coupling
(83); tighten eight screws (84).
CAUTION
Fuel line must be installed at forward
quick-disconnect coupling.
v. Install hose (57) on coupling (83).
(1) Lubricate threads of forward coupling (83).
Use antiseize compound (item 29, App F).
(2) Hold coupling (83). Install nut (86). Use open
end wrench.
CAUTION
Air line must be installed at aft quick-dis-
connect coupling.
w. Install reducer (87).
(1) Lubricate threads of reducer (87). Use
antiseize compound (item 29, App F).
(2) Hold aft coupling (83). Install reducer (87).
Use open end wrench.
x. Install hose (65) on reducer (87).
(1) Lubricate threads of reducer (87). Use
antiseize compound (item 29, App F).
(2) Hold reducer (87). Install nut (88).
