10.141. AUXILIARY FUEL TANK KIT (FOUR TANK) INSTALLATION – continued
d. On outboard pylon (2) and inboard pylon (3),
detach connector P507 (4) from receptacle
(A90)J507 (5).
(1) Attach connector P507 to dummy receptacle
(6) on pylon frame.
e. Install shutoff valve (7).
(1) Insert valve (7) through LW9/RW9 access on
top wing. Position valve (7) on forward side of
trailing edge of wing spar.
(2) Install four bolts (8) and washers (9).
(3) Detach connector P141/P142 (10) from
dummy receptacle (11).
(4) Attach connector P141/P142 (10) to recep-
tacle (L5/L4)J1 (12) on valve (7).
CAUTION
Wire bundle and pitot static line must be
clear of valve to prevent chafing on valve.
f. Perform electrical bond check on four bolts
(8) (TM 55-1500-323-24).
(1) Bond shall be 1.0 OHM or less. Use
multimeter.
g. Seal heads of four bolts (8). Use sealing
compound (item 174, App F).
