10.141. AUXILIARY FUEL TANK KIT (FOUR TANK) INSTALLATION – continued
CAUTION
When positioning retainers on hoses, en-
sure that dust caps will not touch each
other or swing freely on hoses, or contact
trailing edge of wing.
i. Install hose (21).
(1) Remove dust cap (22) from coupling half
(23).
(2) Lubricate threads of coupling half (24). Use
antiseize compound (item 29, App F).
(3) Hold coupling half (24). Install nut (25) on
coupling half (24) at straight end of hose (21).
(4) Lubricate coupling half (24). Use antiseize
compound (item 29, App F).
(5) Install coupling half (24) on coupling half (23).
(6) Lubricate dust cap (22). Use antiseize
compound (item 29, App F).
(7) Install dust cap (22) on retainer (26).
