PILOT OR CPG COLLECTIVE STICK INSTALLATION – continued
NOTE
Ensure CPG collective stick is ad-
justed before adjusting pilot collective
stick.
Ensure nut on pilot collective friction is
loosened prior to adjusting CPG col-
lective friction.
b. Adjust friction range on CPG collective stick
(6) (0.25 to 1.00 pound). Use scale.
(1) Attach scale to wire loop at grip (27).
(2) Check for friction pull of 0.25 to 1.00 POUND.
(a) If friction is within the required limits, go to
step b.(4).
(b) If pull is less than 0.25 POUND, remove
nut (24) and add washers (23) until de-
sired pull is obtained.
(c) If pull is greater than 1.00 POUND, re-
move nut (24) and washers (23) until de-
sired pull is obtained.
(3) Install nut (24).
(4) Aline cotter pin hole and install new cotter pin
(28).
(5) Lockwire grip handle (25) to dial (26). Use
wire (item 220, App F).
c. Remove wire loop from grip (27).
d. Inspect (QA).
