FRICTION GUIDE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION – continued
11.22.6. Installation
a. Install guide (1) on collective stick (9).
(1) Install concave washer (23), shouldered
washer (22), washer (21), and bushing (20)
on stud (24).
(2) Install guide (1) on shaft (24).
NOTE
Be sure to install retainer with flat side
facing washers.
(3) Install washer (18), shouldered washer (17),
concave washer (16), retainer (15) (with flat
side facing washers), spring (14), washer
(13), and washer(s) (12) (if necessary) on
shaft (24).
(4) Install nut (11).
(5) Install new cotter pin (10).
b. Install guide (1) on base (2).
(1) Aline guide (1) with base (2).
(2) Install washer (8) between guide (1) and base
(2).
(3) Install bushing (7) in base (2).
(4) Install bolt (5) through washer (6), bushing
(7), base (2), washer (8), and guide (1).
(5) Install nut (4).
(6) Install new cotter pin (3).
c. Inspect (QA).
11.22.7. Adjustment
a. Adjust friction range on CPG and pilot collec-
tive stick (para 11.21).
