d. Remove collective support (21) from airframe
(22).
(1) Remove four nuts (23) and washers (24).
(2) Remove four bolts (25) and washers (26)
from support (21) and airframe (22).
(3) Remove support (21).
11.38.4. Cleaning
a. Wipe removed and attaching parts with a
clean rag.
11.38.5. Inspection
a. Check removed and attaching parts for cracks
(para 11.5).
b. Check removed and attaching parts for dam-
age (para 11.5).
c. Check removed and attaching parts for corro-
sion (para 1.49).
d. Check all installed bushing(s) and/or bear-
ing(s) for wear (para 11.5).
e. Check all removed bushing(s) and/or bear-
ing(s) for wear (para 11.4).
11.38.6. Installation
a. Install support (21) on airframe (22).
(1) Aline support (21) on forward side of airframe
(22).
(2) Install four bolts (25) through washers (26),
support (21), and airframe (22).
(3) Install four washers (24) and nuts (23).
