c. Detach connector (A334)P1 (7) from recep-
tacle J270 (8).
CAUTION
Shaft of LVDT may become disconnected
from LVDT. If shaft becomes discon-
nected from LVDT, reinsert shaft in LVDT.
d. Remove lateral transducer shaft (9) from rod
end (10).
(1) Measure distance A between end of shaft (9)
and edge of arm (11). Record measurement
for installation.
(2) Remove lockwire.
(3) Loosen nut (12).
(4) Rotate shaft (9) counterclockwise until free of
rod end (10).
(5) Remove nut (12) and keywasher (13) from
rod end (10).
e. Remove lateral feel spring cartridge (14) from
arm (15).
(1) Remove and discard cotter pin (16).
(2) Remove nut (17).
(3) Remove bolt (18) and bushing (19).
(4) Remove cartridge (14).
