LATERAL FEEL SPRING CARTRIDGE REMOVAL – continued
i. Remove feel spring cartridge (18) from mag-
netic brake arm (19).
(1) Remove and discard cotter pin (20).
(2) Remove nut (21).
(3) Remove bolt (22), washers (23) (if installed),
bushing (24), and cartridge (18).
11.57.4. Cleaning
a. Wipe removed and attaching parts with a
clean rag.
11.57.5. Inspection
a. Check removed and attaching parts for cracks
(para 11.5).
b. Check removed and attaching parts for dam-
age (para 11.5).
c. Check removed and attaching parts for corro-
sion (para 1.49).
d. Check all installed bushing(s) and/or bear-
ing(s) for wear (para 11.5).
e. Check all removed bushing(s) and/or bear-
ing(s) for wear (para 11.4).
11.57.6. Repair
a. Repair feel spring cartridge (18) by replacing
worn parts as required (para 11.179).
