11.167. DIRECTIONAL F.S. 159.98 BELLCRANK AND BRACKET REMOVAL/INSTALLATION – continued
d. Install bracket (24) and bellcrank (25) on
bracket (13). Torque two nuts (27) 30 to 40
INCH-POUNDS.
(1) Aline holes in bracket (24) with holes in
bracket (13).
(2) Install four bolts (35) through bracket (13),
bracket (24), and bracket (36).
(3) Install four washers (34) and nuts (33) on
bolts (35).
(4) Aline rod ends (31) and (32) with bellcrank
(25).
(5) Install bolt (29) through washer (30), bushing
(28), bellcrank (25), and rod end (31).
(6) Install bolt (29) through washer (30), bushing
(28), bellcrank (25) and rod end (32).
(7) Check fit of two self-retaining bolts (29) (para
11.1).
(8) Install two nuts (27). Torque two nuts (27) to
30 INCH-POUNDS. Use torque wrench.
(9) Increase torque to aline cotter pin hole, but do
not exceed 40 INCH-POUNDS.
(10) Install two new cotter pins (26).
