PILOT LONGITUDINAL SHEAR PIN ACTIVATED DECOUPLER (SPAD) ASSEMBLY
DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY (AVIM) – continued
f. Install bracket (2) on SPAD (1). Torque nut (4) 30
to 40 INCH-POUNDS.
(1) Position bracket (2) on SPAD (1).
(2) Install bolt (6) through bracket (2), washer (5).
(3) Install nut (4). Torque nut (4) to 30 INCH-
POUNDS. Use torque wrench.
(4) Increase torque to aline cotter pin hole, but do
not exceed 40 INCH-POUNDS.
(5) Install new cotter pin (3).
g. Inspect (QA).
h. Install pilot longitudinal SPAD switch (para
11.64).
i. Install pilot longitudinal SPAD shear pin (para
11.173).
