11.175. PILOT PEDAL ADJUST HANDLE SUPPORT ASSEMBLY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION – continued
c. Remove pedal adjust handle (6) from support
assembly (7).
(1) Remove and discard cotter pin (8).
(2) Remove nut (9).
(3) Remove bolt (10) and washer (11) from han-
dle (6) and support (7).
(4) Remove handle (6).
d. Remove pedal engagement spring (12) and
support (7) from floor (13) and directional
SPAD bracket (14).
(1) Remove four bolts (15) and washers (16).
(2) Remove spring (12) and support (7).
11.175.4. Cleaning
a. Wipe removed and attaching parts with a
clean rag.
11.175.5. Inspection
a. Check removed and attaching parts for dam-
age (para 11.232).
b. Check removed and attaching parts for corro-
sion (para 1.49).
c. Check all installed bushing(s) and/or bear-
ing(s) for wear (para 11.232).
d. Check all removed bushing(s) and/or bear-
ing(s) for wear (para 11.232).
11.175.6. Installation
a. Install support (7) and spring (12) on bracket
(14).
(1) Aline support (7) and spring (12) with bracket
(14) and floor (13).
(2) Install four bolts (15) through washers (16),
spring (12), support (7), floor (13), and brack-
et (14).
