11.184.4. Cleaning
a. Wipe removed and attaching parts with a
clean rag.
11.184.5. Inspection
a. Check removed and attaching parts for dam-
age (para 11.5).
b. Check removed and attaching parts for corro-
sion (para 1.49).
11.184.6. Installation
a. Install support (1) on airframe (2). Torque six
nuts (3) to 41 INCH-POUNDS.
(1) Position support (1) on airframe (2).
(2) Install six bolts (5) through support (1) and
airframe (2).
(3) Install six washers (4) and nuts (3).
(4) Torque six nuts (3) to 41 INCH-POUNDS.
Use torque wrench.
b. Inspect (QA).
c. Install pilot directional feel spring cartridge
(para 11.178).
d. Tighten bolts connecting magnetic brake
shaft to brake support shaft (para 11.176).
e. Perform flight control system maintenance
operational check (TM 1-1520-238-T).
f. Install access fairings L194 and R194 (para
2.2).
