CANOPY SEVERANCE INITIATOR HANDLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION - continued
12.78.3. Removal
a. Enter pilot or CPG station (para 1.56). Observe
all safety precautions.
b. Remove initiator handle (1) from pilot or CPG
station.
(1) Remove lockwire from nut (2).
(2) Remove nut (3) and washer (4) from initiator
handle (1). Use open end wrench.
(3) Remove washer (5) and nut (2) from initiator
handle (1). Use open end wrench.
(4) Remove initiator handle (1) from bracket (6)
and grommet (7).
