q. Wrap and secure all technical manuals, fire extinguishers, headsets, first-aid packs, and clocks. Use
barrier material (item 32, App F) and tape (item 207, App F).
(1) Place all items in a fiberboard box, label, and store in hangar or building.
r. Enter pilot station (para 1.56). Observe all safety precautions.
(1) De-energize circuit breakers at main panels.
(2) Friction down cyclic and collective sticks.
(3) Check that all equipment in pilot station is secure.
s. Enter CPG station (para 1.56). Observe all safety precautions.
(1) De-energize circuit breakers at main panels.
(2) Friction down cyclic and collective sticks.
(3) Check that all equipment in CPG station is secure.
t. Install protective covers (para 1.59).
(1) Seal and secure static air pressure vent, APU intake, and all fuselage openings. Use barrier material
(item 32, App F) and tape (item 207, App F).
u. Preserve TADS/PNVS turret as required (TM 1-1270-476-20) and (TM 1-5855-265-20).
