AC GENERATOR NO. 2 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION – continued
k. Install four wires (6) to generator (2).
(1) Install four identified wires (6), terminal lugs
(8), and locknuts (7) on terminal studs (9).
l. Install terminal cover (1) on generator (2).
(1) Position cover (1) on generator (2).
(2) Apply primer to threads of two screws (3).
Use primer coating (item 147, App F).
(3) Install two flat washers (5), lockwashers (4),
and screws (3).
m. Attach connectors P9 (10) and P8 (11) to gen-
erator (2).
(1) Attach connector P9 (10) to receptacle J1
(12).
(2) Attach connector P8 (11) to receptacle J2
(13).
n. Inspect (QA).
o. Perform AC electrical power generation main-
tenance operational check (TM 1-1520-238-T).
p. Install access panel R200 (para 2.2).
